KL&R2 has fans all around the world, that are very familiar with the R&B sound that is a signature I.D. of KL&R2. They idea was the brain child of Kevin Wheeler the founding member of KL&R2 who was a loyal follower and a huge fan of the late great Solomon Burke. He just thought that it was only fitting for him to pay tribute to such a giant icon in the music industry and who was a main focal point in the direction of his own entertainment and musical career.
Kevin brought the his idea to Dwight Quinn in June,2012 and Dwight embraced the idea and as Kevin discovered the Dwight was also a huge,long-time fan of Solomon Burke and the idea was put into place.
